🎬 Fright Nights Begin: Psycho at The Look Theatre |
Redlands kicks off Halloween season the right way, with screams on the big screen.” |
Halloween is creeping into Redlands, and The Look Theatre is getting us started the right way, with a chilling classic that still makes people glance twice at motel showers: Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
This weekend kicks off Fright Nights at The Look, a special series built to set the Halloween mood. They’re rolling out the 1960 masterpiece that redefined suspense, horror, and storytelling. Watching it on the big screen is nothing like streaming at home. In a theater, the tension spreads through the crowd. 📅 Showtimes: Saturday September 27 & Monday, September 29 So grab your seat, bring a friend, and kick off spooky season the right way. We will be there on Monday! 🎤 Carlos’s TakeI’ll be honest, Psycho still gets under my skin, even after all these years. Hitchcock didn’t rely on blood or cheap scares; he built dread out of silence, shadows, and the unexpected. That shower scene? It changed movies forever. What I love most is how different it feels when you watch it with a crowd.
You sense the energy shift, hear the little gasps, and for a moment, everyone in the room is trapped in Hitchcock’s web. If you’ve only ever seen it on a TV, this is your chance to experience it the way it was meant to be: on the big screen, in the dark, with strangers who are just as jumpy as you. Trust me, this is how you start Halloween season in Redlands. 🖤🔪 |
